Season 5 is officially underway, and despite taking a break, we’re back with the exact same level of chaos.

In this episode, we kick off the new season by diving into the world of Marvel Topps trading cards — the thrill of ripping packs, chasing hits, and convincing ourselves that cardboard is definitely an “investment.” We talk about why collecting is so addictive, why it hits harder as adults, and how hobbies sometimes become the easiest way to shut our brains off for a while.

From there, we check in on mental health — post-holiday burnout, winter blues, and the pressure to feel “reset” just because it’s a new season. We talk honestly about finding joy where you can, letting hobbies be hobbies, and why not everything needs to be productive to be valuable.

We wrap things up with Super Bowl talk — the game, the commercials, the food, and whether anyone is actually watching for football anymore, or if it’s just an excuse to eat wings and yell at the TV.
